Prayers and Praises

Pray for us as our return visas are being requested. The process takes about a month in Indonesia and then another two weeks in the US.  

Isa 25:1 O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.

Please continue to pray for our daughters as they are both in college. 

 Ecc. 12:12 But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.

Please pray for us as we travel to make our reports to various friends and churches. 

Psalm 107:31 & 32   Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!   Let them extol Him also in the congregation of the people, And praise Him at the seat of the elders

Please ask that we make good use of our time remaining in the US. 

Proverbs 16: 3  Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established.

Our hearts are encouraged by the faithfulness of our supporters. 

II Thessalonians 1: 13  “We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater;”

In all this reorganization we had our support needs evaluated by Mission To the World.  It is desired that our monthly support be increased.  Please ask God to raise up supporters to handle that need. 

Numbers 13:27  “Thus they told him, and said, "We went in to the land where you sent us; and it certainly does flow with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.”

Please pray for my (Mary) health and for Gail’s teeth.  Gail has to have some extensive orthodontic work.  This is not cosmetic but necessary because her teeth were literally rotting in her mouth!  I have had various challenges including a kidney infection for which I was hospitalized. 

II Corinthians 12:9  “And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.’

Our finances are being severely challenged by these medical cares. 

II Corinthians 9: 10  “Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;”

We give thanks that his injuries were no worse than they were.   

Isaiah 27: 5  “..let him rely on My protection, Let him make peace with Me, Let him make peace with Me."

We are praying for Herman (name changed) during this grueling time of recovery. 

Ecclessiastes 7:8  “The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit.”

Please lift up Herman’s parents as they have to meet the extra financial needs of this injury. 

I Chronicles 29:12  "Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone."

 Many of our translators are in their allocations now.  Please pray that their work will go forth smoothly.  

 I Corinthians 2:13  “which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.”

Please pray for HIS during this school year.  There are always some unique experiences as well as dealing with an extremely fluid population. 

Colossians 1:9  “  For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,”
