The eighth grade celebrates entering into high school with a "sneak" event away from school and a banquet at the end of the year. The tradition began when HIS ended at the eighth grade.

On the HIS website (http://www.hismk.org) Mike is quoted as saying, “There isn't anything I'd rather be doing with my life than helping further Bible translation and church planting through serving these kids and their parents.”    This was our vision when we arrived in Papua and it is our vision still today.  Being part of the team bringing God's Word to those who don't have it is the best occupation in the world.
